Job summary
Animal Care Assistant -No experience required
As an Animal Care Assistant for our Toxicology team at the Senneville (QC) facility, you will be responsible for the welfare of our laboratory animals.
Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

You don’t need any previous experience because we have an exceptional training team that will teach you everything!
In this role, key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning animal rooms;
- Cleaning animal cages;
- Animal management.
Key elements
If you have the following qualifications, we will train you on the rest:
- You enjoy working physically (lifting 20 to 25 pound loads);
- You are able to follow precise instructions;
- You like animals.
- High School Diploma (DES) required – Having an AEP in Animal Care is an advantage.
Please note that upon hire, you will be required to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the company’s expense.
Role-specific information:
- Location: 22022 Trans-Canada Highway, Senneville (QC) H9X 1C1
- Pay: $18.50 per hour with prime rates of:
- Nights: $2.50;
- Weekend: $2.75;
- Overtime: Hour and a half;
- Holidays: Double hours;
- Schedule:
- Regular full-time hours. Mainly days, weekend rotations and holidays with overtime at night and
- night when necessary;
- Transport: We offer a free shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to Senneville.
If you come by car, we also have free parking.
