Working hours: Permanent part-time, up to 24 hours per week.

What you will do:

You will do a wide variety of things in the kitchen, including but not limited to:

• Distribute and serve food and beverages in the cafeteria and/or cafeteria
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils; operate dishwashers and/or wash pots
• Prepare drinks and foods such as tea, coffee and toast and also assemble items such as sandwiches and salads
• Stack clean dishes and utensils; also set bright and clean dining tables
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing countertops, sinks, machines and equipment, and washing walls and areas with spills
• Clean, operate and maintain equipment in accordance with safety, health and sanitation laws and guidelines
• Observe all health/safety regulations for proper food handling, personal hygiene, and proper use of all equipment

• Food handler certificate
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and lift 20 pounds overhead
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Able to provide prompt, efficient, courteous and tactful customer service while working with other employees and functioning effectively in a team environment
• Ability and willingness to multitask, work effectively under pressure and flex schedules when necessary
• Evidence of good work and attendance record
• Intermediate computer skills
